Vegan protesters storm Melbourne steak restaurant
user posted image

A GROUP of vegan protesters stormed a Melbourne steak restaurant on Saturday night chanting slogans through loudspeakers and yelling at customers.

Thirty-five activists from Direct Action Everywhere Melbourne and Melbourne Cow Save Animal Liberation Army entered the Rare Steakhouse on King St in the CBD at around 6.30pm “to speak up for animals where their dead bodies were being consumed”.

In a video posted to Facebook, the group can be seen protesting on both levels of the restaurant as around 25 bemused customers eat their dinner.

“In order to create change in our society, we must challenge current belief systems and force people to take a side — oppression or justice, cruelty or compassion,” Melbourne Cow Save wrote on Facebook. “There is no humane way to kill someone who does not want to die.”

I find this type of behaviour quite disturbing and it seems to be increasing.
These people think the whole world revolves around them but actually they are delusional about the importance of them selves and their causes,
With out using the "A" word it is difficult to label them,

They don’t seem to understand that millions of people don’t agree with them. What would happen if a group of 35 carnivores stormed a Melbourne vegan restaurant chanting slogans through loudspeakers and yelling at customers? I imagine there would be a kerfuffle of some sort and a lot of indignant social media posting, perhaps an attempt at legal action under the act which does not allow anyone to offend or intimidate under certain conditions. Different when the boot is on the other foot. https://s20.postimg.org/x68t0lwf1/1120275_KASPa_Hdl.gif http://fairdinkumnewschat.b1.jcink.com/uploads/fairdinkumnewschat/lbill.gif http://fairdinkumnewschat.com/rolleyes.gif

http://fairdinkumnewschat.b1.jcink.com/uploads/fairdinkumnewschat/smiley_IMHO.png these kind of progressive activists are brain dead morons.

Everyone has the right to choose to be vegan. I have no problem whatever with that. On the other side of the coin everyone has the right to eat meat if they wish.

In 99.999% of cases, when we humans slaughter animals for food consumption it is in a far less cruel and painful way than other species of carnivores slaughter their food.

These idiots really need to get off their arses and find a life, and a brain, and stop pestering the rest of us. http://fairdinkumnewschat.b1.jcink.com/uploads/fairdinkumnewschat/smiley_angry002.gif

I think minding your own business and channeling your energies to someplace useful would be the way to go!
Actually, I've been thinking of starting up a protest group to defend celery and sweet corn, if anyone is interested! No? I thought not. Oh well, the celery will just have to battle on by itself, then! At least I made a token effort! http://fairdinkumnewschat.com/biggrin.gif
